To develop and increase the demand for new tourism destinations in Uzbekistan, and to improve the touristic market and services, the (former) Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Karakalpakstan, in close cooperation with the \u2018Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr internationale Zusammenarbeit\u2019 (GIZ), has designed a compelling tourism strategy \u201cStrategy for the Sustainable Growth of Tourism in the Republic of Karakalpakstan 2023\u20132026\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this regard, the presentation of the Strategy and Action Plan, outlining short-, mid- and long-term activities to develop the tourism sector in Karakalpakstan was organized in Tashkent State University of Economics on 18th<\/sup> of August 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov<\/strong> took part in the event along with the Ambassador of the German Embassy in Uzbekistan Tilo Klinner<\/strong>, Rector of the Tashkent State University of Economics Kongratbay Sharipov<\/strong>, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Rasul Zarekeev <\/strong>and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
